The Reference Department performs legal and non-legal research in support of faculty scholarship and teaching. These requests are completed by reference librarians and student research assistants under their supervision.

For fastest service, request books and articles through tILLapia. Articles will be delivered electronically and books will be delivered to your mailbox. Articles are accessible through tILLapia for only 5 views or 30 days. For details, check out our ILL Guide for Faculty.
You may also request books directly from the catalog by clicking the "Request" button in the catalog after signing in with your NetID.
Regular Material: Loan period is 90 days, but the item will automatically be renewed unless another patron has requested it. You will receive an email notifying you of the due date, but you do not need to take any action to renew the item.
The reference department can provide individualized training for any of our databases. Whether its a refresher on Westlaw or Lexis, or a specialized database, we can provide training that for your specific research need.
We can provide 1-on-1 training for your research assistants. From a basic legal research refresher to specialized instruction on specific resources, we can help your RAs maximize their time and provide better quality research for you.
