Patent Law

Cases

Patent infringement actions are litigated in the U.S. District Courts, except for those brought against the U.S. government, which are handled by the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.  The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has exclusive jurisdiction over patent appeals from the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. International Trade Commission.
