Library Materials

Reserve Collection

The library maintains a Reserve Collection for items frequently used by the law school community:

  • Items placed on course reserve by professors
  • Hornbooks, nutshells, current editions of Examples and Explanations and Emanuel Outlines Series
  • Selected Connecticut materials

Just ask at the Information Desk. Reserve materials may be checked out for four hours and overnight.

Research Guides

Don't know where to start with your research? The library has online research guides on numerous subjects:

Interlibrary Loan

You can request materials that the library doesn’t own by filling out the online Interlibrary Loan form available on the library’s website.  Materials are generally received within two weeks.  Loan periods for books are usually four weeks, and photocopied articles need not be returned. You will receive a notice by email when the item is available for pickup at the Information Desk. To read more about tILLapia.
