This is a guide to job searching and career resources available online and at the law school library.  The law school's Career Planning Center provides a document library and other resources on their web page.

Reference Assistance

Reference librarians are here to help you with any questions or problems you may have with journal-related duties, such as source collection, cite-checking, and bluebooking.  We can also assist you with recommened sources for topic selection and development for your journal note, as well as tips for doing an effective preemption check.

We offer one-on-one research consultations with a member of our team or you can stop by the Main Desk in the library for assistance.  For the fall semester, reference service hours at the Main Desk are Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  You can also call us at 860-570-5068, email us at, or use the reference chat service from the law library website.

To make an appointment for a one-on-one research consultation, please email us at with information about your research project and your availability to meet during the next few days.
