Introduction

This guide is meant to provide a starting place for foreign students at the UCONN Law School to find and research the primary sources of Federal U.S. law available through the UCONN Law Library.

Selected research guides, reference tools, interpretative and analytical materials specific to these sources are highlighted on each page to assist in finding appropriate research materials.  For techniques to help you find more  click the Finding Other Research Materials tab.

Other helpful general research guides can be found in the box to the left.

The best single place to look for official U.S. Goverment documents is the GPO (Government Publishing Office) website FDSys where you can browse and search for Executive, Legislative and Judicial branch documents.
