Student Toolkit

Everything you need to know about using the law library.

Library Hours

Accessing Library Resources

Patrons are welcome to browse the stacks, or request access to print materials through our Library2Go contactless pickup and digital scanning service

Food & Drink in the Library

Food is not permitted in the library building.  Beverages are allowed.  Masks may be removed while drinking.

Individual and Group Study Space

The Law Library has study carrels and tables for use that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Law students and faculty who are interested in using a group study room may reserve one of our 11 study rooms for up to 2 hours per day.  Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.

Noise Guidelines

Do you need to discuss an assignment with your classmate, or do you want a quiet study space where you won't be disturbed? The library has designated noise zones to accommodate your needs.

ID Card for Library Borrowing Privileges

The UConn ID card (also known as the Husky One card) serves as the University library card and is also used to access buildings and rooms at the Law School, such as classrooms and the computer labs.
